Well Last Night I Thought I Had Found It

No, I am not talking about "that body I always wanted" I am talking about my MOJO.  I never really worked out what a mojo is so here I am going to explore for the sake of others in the same position.  A magic charm, talisman, or spell?  What a load of twaddle!

Ah, this is more like it!  Self-confidence, Self-assuredness. As in basis for belief in ones self in a situation.

Well now that is sorted, to my satisfaction at least, on with the theme.

Last night I went to a Northern Soul dance class with Fiona Smith at the Community Centre in Netley Heath (Southampton).  I went there once before about 4 months ago and realised that I needed to get my knees better and stronger and my energy level up in order to do all the stomping and stuff.  So last night was a dream.  OK, she has staying power, that girl, stomping and shuffling and sliding and gliding but at least I could keep it up for a little while.  So I am so pleased with myself and I FEEL COMPLETELY DIFFERENT BECAUSE OF IT.  It doesn't take a lot, just keeping on keeping on is enough.

For 4 or 5  months now I have been exercising with Camilla Dallerup's "Dance Off The Inches" DVD and most days I have added on a mixture of Fiona Smith's "Dance Northern" DVD, Lilia's "Latinasize" DVD,

Vicky Binns "Dance It Off"DVD

and Keti Sharif's "Complete A-Z Original Bellydance" DVD.  It has all been worthwhile as I now have twice the energy and stamina than before.

I'm looking forward to my next class.

Camilla Dallerup

You know how it goes don't you?

Aristoc 3

I have been meaning to get fit for, well forever really.

Camilla and Ian in Action taken by Alec Myers

And I actually bought this fitness DVD ages and ages ago for a £1

Camilla 1

and it just sat in the drawer by my bedside all this time.

ANYWAY

This morning at 4 o'clock I decided it was time.  Time to get my butt into gear (literally).  So I spent an hour following the dance exercise with Camilla Dallerup.  The sweat was pouring off me but i didn't want to stop.

You may not have an hour to spare but you can just follow ONE of the four sections each time.

IT IS REALLY IMPORTANT TO DO THE WARM UP AND THE COOL DOWN.

If you don't want to do Camilla's warm up and cool down then you can do your own.  Her cool down doesn't include all the stretches so I advise you to add some of the missing ones.  Try this:- http://www.wikihow.com/Stretch

This is a newer DVD.  Buy, exercise and enjoy the fruits of your labours peeps!

THIS DVD WILL NOT WORK WITH A U.S. PLAYER

This is a section of the original DVD I was exercising with this morning. Ouch! That arabesque!

Got my alarm clock set for the morning
